1st Photography competition that I had take part!

Forget from where I got a news that there is a penang postcard competition for all photography lovers. Hence, i was thinking of why not i try to take part since i m penang lang too...

ha, then i visit the website, look for the pictures i took at penang b4 for this competition.. then i turn it into 8R and make the border as they require too.. then i sent it last minutes just right after i step on penang when i back to penang on 29th august!

actually i was thinking to give up since it's too rush for me to hang up.... cox of busy work, i can only send my digital copy to print out as 8R on friday (the day b4 i go back penang); yet, i need to collect the photo by 7pm (right after office hour, thanks for my colleague who help me to finish the things that i could finish on time.. )

then next day, once reach penang, i ve to prepare the border as it's quit big for me to carry from kl to pg if i make it on friday night...

as i was flying back that day, i ve to go back bm then back to penang again to submit the photo... when the time finished, it was 1pm and i still in bm!

i was thinking not to send already since it's too late and it's saturday, office open half day only... yet next day is sunday n monday was the deadline for submitted and it was merdeka day!

however, after a while, i was thinking since try so hard, why not go and try again? if really close then fine, we just go shopping! ha , then we finally send the photo to kdu.

after weeks, i received call from them saying sorry u didn won any prizes and thanks for participate.

dissappointed.... but at least i tried my best...

then after weeks again, when i read the newsletter from exco penang, i found this !!





haha c my name? yohoo! eventhough didn get any prizes but i still happy enuff as this is the first ever competition that i had taken part after own a dslr! and now i was in 101 out of 750! n 3 of my photo been choosen out of 5 i submitted!

sorry... i know i m not the best.. but this is the best i achieve so far... :P and i was happy ;)
